OUR FINANCIAL AID PHILOSOPHY
We recognize that the full cost of an independent education is beyond the means of many outstanding students and families. The need-based financial aid program at Liggett is designed to bridge the gap between what a family can afford and the cost of an independent education. This makes Liggett affordable to many qualified students who could not otherwise join our school community. As a result, our students represent a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds, creating a student body diverse in thought and experience all on a journey of discovery together.
The financial aid committee determines financial aid awards for admitted students based on a family’s demonstrated financial need for grades K – 12. Financial aid is not available for Prekindergarten programs. Liggett Merit Scholarships are also available to qualifying candidates applying for the 9th grade only before the deadline.
The 2019-20 Liggett Merit Scholarship deadline is January 18, 2019.
