University Liggett School specialty camps provide fun, exciting activities for children during the summer. Kids can make new friends while participating in iPad music, coding and video game Design and our kids empowered camps! All specaility camps are open to boys and girls!
Girls will have fun doing themed crafts, games, fitness activities and role playing games using the stories of the American Girl Dolls. We will watch a little of the movie each day. We will examine how Gabriela used poetry to help her overcome her stutter. We will explore Nanea’s stories that teach kokua — doing good deeds and giving selflessly — sometimes require sacrifice. Like the American girl characters’, campers will learn about following their passions, dreams and expressing themselves through art, poetry and songs. In addition to crafts and role-playing games, this American Girl Camp will include yoga and dance. Girls also will learn how to handle mean girl situations using “Chrissa Stands Strong.” Campers are encouraged to bring their American Girl Doll or another doll! Campers should bring a nut free snack and beverage in a reusable container to camp each day.
