Professional Photographer Cybelle Codish ’94 Is Our 2018 Alumni Arts Hall of Fame Recipient

Arts Hall of Fame Induction of Cybelle Codish ‘94

We are excited to announce that Cybelle Codish ’94 has been selected as our 2018 Arts Hall of Fame Award recipient and will be honored at the Upper and Middle School Arts Awards on Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m., in the Manoogian Arts Wing. Prior to the Arts Awards, Cybelle will visit campus to share her knowledge and expertise with a group of upper school art and photography students.

Cybelle’s documentary-style photo essays have graced everything from the Rolling Stone to Martha Stewart to NME Magazine. She has shot for various record companies including Capitol, Motown, Universal, Atlantic and Warner Brothers and has numerous Gold and Platinum awards for her album covers.

Cybelle has traveled the world for editorial assignments and to document touring musicians. She is an award-winning photojournalist and has had many gallery showings, most recently at the Smithsonian NMAI in New York and the National Geographic Museum in Washington, DC. Cybelle is currently working on her first independent book project, slated for completion next year.
