Athletic Fields

ULS athletes excel because our athletic facilities are designed to bring out their best. In fall 2015, University Liggett School completed a major expansion of its outdoor athletic complex, unveiling the largest contiguous installation of artificial turf fields at any high school in the country. This state-of-the-art complex supports football, baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.

• Six-Lane Rubber Crumb Track – Includes high jump, long jump, and shot-put pits

Tennis Courts

Our outdoor tennis facility features eight premium hard-court tennis courts designed to meet the needs of both competitive athletes and casual players. The courts are complemented by a dedicated tennis house with restroom facilities, offering a convenient space for players and spectators alike. Ideal for tournaments, clinics, team practices, or private play.

John and Marlene Boll Campus Center 

The 30,200-square-foot John and Marlene Boll Campus Center, opened in 2018, serves as a vibrant hub for athletic and community activities. It features:

• Fruehauf Gymnasium with a collegiate-grade floor and ten basketball hoops 
• State-of-the-art Fitness Center and Weight Room
• Athletic Training Room for injury prevention and recovery
• Four student locker rooms, plus coach and official locker rooms
• Drop-down hitting net for indoor baseball/softball
• Space for indoor soccer, lacrosse, gymnastics (renter provides equipment)
• Bleacher seating for 400+ guests

Francis J. McCann Ice Arena

The Francis J. McCann Ice Arena spans 39,000 square feet, featuring expanded locker rooms and seating for 300 spectators. Open year-round, the arena hosts ULS hockey teams, community leagues, and skating programs, while serving as a key part of the ULS physical education curriculum.

Manoogian Arts Wing

The Manoogian Arts Wing is the centerpiece of our Creative and Performing Arts program. Spanning over 30,000 square feet, it offers:

• Expansive art display areas for student and professional exhibits
• A versatile recital hall for intimate performances
• Specialized classrooms for artistic exploration
• The gallery features customizable displays and accommodates events with up to 300 guests, making it perfect for exhibitions, receptions, and lectures.

Theater

Our full-scale auditorium and theater offers seating for over 300 guests, with a spacious stage equipped with:

• Advanced lighting systems for dynamic performances

• A fully integrated hotbox for versatile stage setups
• Ideal for plays, concerts, lectures, and film screenings, the theater provides a professional setting to elevate any event.

Dance Studio / Black Box Theater

Located within the Manoogian Arts Wing, this professional-grade dance studio doubles as a black box theater. It features:

• Perfect for dance classes, theater productions, and intimate performances.

Tarik E. Ibrahim Commons

The Tarik E. Ibrahim Commons is a dynamic, professional meeting space equipped with cutting-edge presentation and teleconferencing technology. This versatile room can accommodate up to 75 participants in a workshop or collaborative setting and seat up to 100 guests for lectures or presentations. Ideal for corporate meetings, seminars, training sessions, and networking events, the Commons provides a polished environment designed to inspire productivity and connection.
