Reggio Emilia Inspired Early Childhood Program

IN THIS SECTION

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our early childhood program is an intentional partnership between a child’s family, teacher, and a carefully constructed classroom environment that sparks curiosity and imagination. With our faculty serving as guides and mentors, the classroom itself becomes a highly stimulating and supportive environment where students can experiment, make mistakes, and grow from their experiences.

Early Childhood

Students are exposed to a variety of materials and mediums, and have the freedom of choice to engage in learning and express their perspectives in myriad ways. By honoring different preferences, styles, and strengths, this distinctly student-centered approach empowers our youngest learners to explore their innate curiosities, confidently engage the world around them, and develop an understanding of their place within it.

The Liggett Approach reinforces these benefits, providing a solid framework that fosters agency and builds critical skills they will call upon throughout their educational journey. Here, student voices are valued, and their interests and passions are not only encouraged, but intentionally woven into the curriculum. As a result, they discover the inherent joy of learning—and begin to see the world as their classroom.

Children's educational experiences are documented through photos, videos, and observations—a powerful tool for reflection and ongoing collaboration between children, teachers, and families.
