About Honor Wallace '22

OriginalImage,,,OriginalHonor was a bright, joyful, and intellectually curious student known for her passion for languages, love of theater, and deep commitment to the University Liggett School community. Tragically, she lost her life at the hands of a drunk driver during her sophomore year at Southern Methodist University.

Honor’s time at ULS was defined by her multifaceted interests. A passionate student with a particular love for languages, Honor excelled in French and Spanish, earning a reputation for intellectual curiosity and determination. Her academic accomplishments were complemented by her involvement in theater, tennis, and hockey, and she was a Liggett Merit Scholar deeply committed to her school community.

At Southern Methodist University, she continued to pursue her love of languages.

We are grateful that this speaker series allows us to remember Honor and share her passion for continuous learning and inspiring others in a meaningful way.
— Caroline and David Wallace, Honor’s parents
