Liggett Knight 2026: A Celebration of Community and Giving

We are feeling incredibly grateful following Liggett Knight 2026. This year’s event raised a record-setting $566,000 to support academic initiatives, campus improvements, co-curricular programs, and more.

At Friday night’s celebration, our paddle raise in support of expanding our Place Based Learning program in memory of Ray Robbins, Head of School from 1969-1984, generated more than $288,000, while our live and silent auctions brought in over $134,000. Liggett Knight sponsorships contributed an additional $113,000.

We also extend our thanks to our outstanding faculty and staff, whose unique items and experiences helped raise more than $32,000.

Since its inception, Liggett Knight has raised more than $6.1 million in support of University Liggett School. We are deeply appreciative of our generous bidders, donors, and sponsors who continue to make this event and its impact possible.

2026 Paddle Raise: Expanding Place-Based Learning

This year’s Paddle Raise focused on expanding place-based learning at University Liggett School — an approach that connects classroom learning to real-world experiences. Through hands-on exploration of local environments, history, and community, students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while gaining a deeper sense of connection and responsibility.

Support from the Paddle Raise will broaden access to these meaningful experiences across all grade levels, providing resources, field opportunities, and faculty development that help bring learning to life beyond the classroom. There is still time to contribute and support this important initiative.
