In Middle School, students build autonomy and independence, learning to make thoughtful decisions — whether tackling schoolwork or navigating social challenges. Our dedicated Middle School faculty have a deep love for this age group. Striking the perfect balance between fun, support, and challenge, they create a safe environment where students can explore new opportunities, take risks, and build the confidence they need to grow on every level.

Central to our Middle School experience is a strong sense of peer community. Through our Advisory Program, students engage in daily interactions that foster academic and personal growth. With an average of eight students per group, the advisory system allows each student to be deeply known by their advisor — academically and personally. Additionally, our signature House System encourages cross-grade relationships, leadership development, and a broader sense of belonging within our school.

Students are encouraged to explore their interests through robust electives, co-curriculars, and student-led clubs that are built into the school day. Our makerspace supports design thinking and creativity, giving students the opportunity to collaborate and innovate in hands-on projects. Our comprehensive modern language program stands out as the only one in the region to offer daily instruction in Mandarin, Chinese, and Spanish across all three Middle School years.
